General: A mission-driven professional with a Systems Administration background and Active Top Secret clearance to become our next Operational Test Systems Administrator at Edwards AFB in California. The candidate will support our AFOTEC Test Services Team - a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled professionals who have the desire for success and a relentless interest in providing a positive customer experience to complement a cohesive team of professionals. Test programs to be supported include: Global Hawk Block 30/40 and the Airborne Signals Intelligence Payload (ASIP); Global Hawk Multi-Spectral Intelligence (MSI); the Global Hawk Ground Station Modernization Program (GSMP); and the Distributed Common Ground Station (DCGS).
Provide technical services in the areas of Operational Test and Evaluation concepts, planning, executing, and reporting for all of the programs under the AFOTEC, Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) Test Operations Division (CTO).
Perform system configuration management respective to each unique test event when required, including software uploading and configuration, firewall modifications, federated external interface coordination, and modification of application-level privileges.
Construct test system setups tailored to specific testing requirements, including hardware specifications and operating system and software uploads.
Review and provide recommendations on systems requirements documents.
Provide input during systems design and development.
Identify test capabilities requirements and shortfalls, develop mission task breakdown, and refine test concepts and designs.
Identify test support resources needs (facilities, instrumentation, and personnel).
Provide technical expertise to develop the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)
Develop OT&E plans, create detailed test procedures, participate in test team deployments; prepare data management and analysis plans; collect and compile evaluation data
Provide technical input for operational impact assessments and submit inputs to OT&E reports and briefings.
Qualifications / Experience:
Current TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility
Current CompTIA Security+ certification
At least 5 years of System Administration experience
At least 2 years of Systems Administration experience with DCGS (any service)
Knowledge of Defense Intelligence Information Enterprise (DI2E) preferred
Bachelors Degree (4 years of additional experience can be substituted for the degree)
Knowledge and previous experience with Operational T&E of ISR systems/platforms is highly desired
