Responsibilities:
- Perform and manage cybersecurity T&E of Information Technology/National Security Systems (IT/NSS) and assess system capabilities
- Lead, plan, and execute Cybersecurity IT T&E Systems and Capability Life Cycle tasks
- Interface with Government Action Officers (AOs) and conduct regular In-Process Reviews (IPRs) on TO project funding, schedules, technical deliverables, management
- Complete required training requirements
- Adhere to DISA JITC ISO 9001 Auditable Unit (AU) processes and ensure that program milestones are met
- Research technical IT/NSS systems and capability documents for testable cybersecurity requirements and assist in developing test procedures
- Manage the assigned team, work schedule, and ensure work environment compliance
- Manage TO financial, technical, schedule and management requirements
- Participate in T&E documentation adjudication meetings and working group sessions
- Develop and submit briefings, schedules, WARs, and MSRs
- Implement common T&E practices and DoD cybersecurity/information security directives and instructions during the following processes: identify requirements, verify user needs, develop evaluation approach, collect data, analyze data, and report on findings
- Solicit system requirements and associated operational environments to produce an evaluation approach that supports T&E objectives
- Conduct and may oversee cybersecurity testing of processes and products
- Design and implement test procedures to determine if standards and criteria are met
- Recommend adjustments to the cybersecurity processes or detailed procedures when appropriate
- Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation
- Track assigned TO and Government Customer IT logistics assets. Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual IT asset logistics inspections are completed
- Conduct preplanning, planning, execution, data collection, data analysis, reporting and close out activities for the TO
- Report on issues and identify cybersecurity Courses of Action (CoA) for customer approval to mitigate issues quickly
- Plan Government customer and assigned MAC internal and external IPR, Working group, or information meetings
- Conduct Action Officer IPRs using IPR approved formats
Qualifications / Experience:
- Current DoD Secret clearance or higher eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field and 6+ years of related IT experience (Additional certifications, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- 2+ years of recent hands-on experience in specific cybersecurity IT fields/testing areas and the capabilities associated with the DoD architecture including IA/CND Policies and Procedures
- DoDD 8570/8140 IAT / IAM Level II Certification. IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP) or IAM Level II (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO)
- Experience in supporting a DoD customer in the T&E area that includes an extensive understanding of test Pre-Planning, Planning, Test Readiness Reviews, Execution, Data Collection, Data Analysis, After Actions Reviews, Reporting and Closing events and activities
- Willing and available to travel 10 - 20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent and relevant hands-on cybersecurity and T&E of an IT/NSS T&E project that includes all phases of a T&E life cycle in the areas of Developmental, Operational, Cybersecurity, Unified Capabilities, Joint Interoperability, Verification and Validation, and Standards Conformance and Compliance testing
