Information Technology Analyst - Intermediate / JITC, Ft. Huachuca, AZ and Ft. Meade, MD

​General: Hawk Associates is seeking a mission-driven professional to support the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) on Ft. Huachuca, AZ. The candidate will join our team of Test & Evaluation (T&E) experts providing T&E services for user and mission support while achieving a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage IT T&E Systems and Capability Life Cycle events and activities
• Manage a team of T&E professionals in planning, and execution of major IT/NSS Systems and Capability T&E projects
• Lead a team of professionals providing IT professional T&E or T&E support services to the government customers and their clients
• Manage the assigned team, work schedule, PTO, and ensure work environment compliance
• As the Team Lead, track assigned IT logistics assets and ensure all required IT asset logistics inspections are completed
• Ensure TO personnel rosters used for emergency notifications are updated with the team’s status daily
• Ensure training requirements are completed in accordance with PMO guidance
• Ensure processes are adhered to DISA JITC ISO 9001 Auditable Unit (AU) processes and ensure the program milestones are met
• Research technical IT/NSS systems and capability documents for testable requirements and develop test procedures that will address those requirements
• Develop IT/NSS T&E efforts to include planning/reporting documentation and correcting documentation that contains recommendations and corrections
• Provide internal and external weekly and monthly activity reports (WARs & MSRs) ensuring format, technical and schedule compliance
• Coordinate and participate in T&E documentation adjudication meetings and working group sessions
• Conduct task order preplanning, planning, execution, data collection, data analysis, reporting and close out activities
• Maintain TO financial, technical, schedule, and management requirements
• Interface with Government Action Officers (AOs) and conduct regular In-Process Reviews (IPRs) on TO project funding, schedules, technical deliverables, management
• Report issues and identify Courses of Action (CoAs) for customer approval to mitigate issues quickly
• Meet with Government customer and assigned Mission Area Chief for scheduled internal and external IPR, Working Group or information meetings
• Conduct IPRs using approved formats

Qualifications / Experience: 

• Current DoD Secret clearance or higher 
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field and 6+ years of related IT experience.  (Additional certifications, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• DoDD 8570/8140 IAT / IAM Level II Certification. IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP) or IAM Level II (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO)
• 3+ years experience managing an IT/NSS T&E project that includes all phases of a T&E life cycle (planning, conducting, executing, and reporting) in the areas of Developmental, Operational, Cybersecurity, Unified Capabilities, Joint Interoperability, Verification and Validation, and Standards Conformance and Compliance testing
• Willing and available to travel up to 10% of the time
