Systems Administrator - Ft. Huachuca, AZ

​General: Supporting the US Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE) CIO G6 contract.  Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.   

Responsibilities: 

• Interact with users and evaluate vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
• Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software, and allocating mass storage space.
• Use and apply general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.  Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Represents organization on specific projects. May make presentations to small groups.

Qualifications / Experience: 

• Current TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Prefer at least 3 years of experience with System Administration.
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• OS (Windows, LINUX, or Redhat) Experience
• Knowledge of current DoD network administration requirements, concepts, practices, and procedures.
